Barrister

Stacy Payne’s practice encompasses all of Chambers’ Practice Areas and she is regularly instructed on matters in the High Courts, County Courts and specialist tribunals throughout England and Wales, by some of the largest law firms and financial institutions.


Stacy qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 after being invited to expedite her Training Contract. In her capacity as a Solicitor, Stacy was regularly instructed to attend both the Magistrates and Crown Court trials. Stacy progressed quickly and obtained her Criminal Higher Rights before transferring to the Bar in 2014.


Since being called to the Bar Stacy has focused her practice on Civil Litigation and has undertaken in excess of 2,000 hearings as Counsel. Always seeking new challenges and having a passion for advocacy, Stacy has developed a broad Civil practice. Stacy is often commended by national clients and is described as a tenacious advocate.


Stacy is appointed to the Football Association's Anti-Discrimination Chairman's Panel and regularly accepts instructions in this area.
